BBEDC, aka Boundary Breaking European Dance Connection, is a Europe-funded three-year ERASMUS + project spanning from September 2017 to June 2020. Five countries take part in BBEDC : France, Spain, Holland, the United Kingdom and Poland.
The aim is to create two theatre shows (February 2019 and June 2020) mixing the talents of students from all five partner organisations despite possible discrepancies regarding age, artistic skills, experience, physical and mental limitations or social and cultural backgrounds.
BBEDC is a fusion of five languages, different dance and music styles (even though breakdance is the keystone) and different human beings whose common point is to be European and to share their passion for art and the discovery of otherness.
BBEDC is about friendship, the strong connection linking all adults in charge of the project but also the growing kinship among students who get together on mobilities.
BBEDC is six teaching learning mobilities and six transnational project meetings. We transcend our differences to create an identity of our own and that will be what the audience will see on stage.
BBEDC is also about getting our students to attend visual arts performances. On this site in the "SHOWS" section, you can see the different events they have attended so far.
